What is Faire?

Faire is a wholesale marketplace connecting brands with independent retailers across Europe and the United States. Retailers browse, order in trade quantities and pay on trade terms, which makes it a way into physical retail without building a sales team first.

How the connection works

Trade orders arrive automatically. Orders placed on Faire land in our warehouse system directly.

Packs stay intact. Wholesale orders ship in the pack sizes they arrived in, so nothing is broken down into singles and rebuilt by hand.

Stock is shared, not split. The same inventory serves Faire and your consumer channels, with nothing reserved per channel in advance.

Track & trace goes back. Shipment and tracking are reported back as soon as the order leaves the warehouse.

A trade order is not a big consumer order

A shop ordering twelve of something wants twelve in one carton with a packing list, not twelve individually wrapped parcels with a thank-you card in each.

That is why we do not break inbound stock down to single units on arrival. Packs stay as they came in, so a Faire order ships as the packs it already is, and we only open one when a consumer order needs a single unit. One stock pool serves both, and neither side pays for the other's packaging.
